In an effort to expand formal social security coverage, the Central Government of India has introduced the Employees’ Enrolment Campaign 2025, announced under the Employees’ Provident Funds (Amendment) Scheme, 2025.
Campaign Duration: From 1st November 2025 to 30th April 2026
This initiative enables employers to register employees who were not previously enrolled under the EPF scheme, covering those who joined between 1st July 2017 and 31st October 2025.
To make compliance easier, organizations can regularize such employees by paying a single nominal fee of ₹100 per worker, avoiding additional penalties or interest charges.
The move reflects India’s continued push for workplace transparency, inclusive labour welfare, and improved statutory compliance.
