The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 popularly known as PoSH Act was enacted by the Government of India in 2013 for protection of women against sexual harassment at work. Spectra works to educate and foster a gender sensitive workplace by providing end-to-end solutions for PoSH compliance

Duties of Employer
Safe Environment
Provide a safe working environment for women which includes safety from the persons coming into contact at the workplace
Constitute Committee
Constitute an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) with minimum four members and provide necessary facilities to ICC
Organise Workshops
Organise periodic awareness programs and workshops for gender sensitisation at workplace and orientation programs for the members of the ICC
Assistance
Provide assistance to women to file police complaint and secure the attendance of respondent and witnesses before the ICC or the Local Committee
Treat Sexual Harresment as Misconduct
Treat sexual harassment as a misconduct under the service rules and initiate action for any such misconduct and take timely action
Initiate Action
Initiate action against the perpetrator for any act of sexual harassment and monitor the timely submission of reports by the Internal Complaints Committee
